About 20 minutes drive from Ljubljana.

Lake Zbilje is a popular spot for the sunny afternoons with its natural beauty, cafés and restaurants, the children’s playground.

Lake Zbilje is an artificial accumulation lake on the Sava River. The lake was formed in 1953, when a dam was built as part of the Medvode hydroelectric power plant construction. This was quickly followed by the development of tourist activities along the lake, including the increasingly popular stand-up paddle-boarding in recent years.
